The “ENTEG – Entrepreneurship support for graduates” project aims to promote the entrepreneurial training of graduates in the cross-border area of North Macedonia (Bitola and Prilep) and Greece (Thessaloniki)
The cross-border area between North Macedonia and Greece suffers from high rates of youth unemployment, which causes the phenomenon of brain drain.
The project, therefore, aims to promote in a responsible and integrated way the entrepreneurship training of graduates, to increase their attractiveness on the job market or stimulate them to create new entrepreneurial realities that generate new jobs.
During the project course, we will involve more than 60 participants, of which at least 12 are graduates and currently employed, through the creation of consultancy and tutoring structures and virtual entrepreneurship laboratories.
The project will also work on important components related to social inclusion, which we are already addressing through our BAIR project, i.e. the inclusion of Roma citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia.
At the end of the project, we hope to have helped young graduates to remain in the area to contribute to the development of the local economies of the cross-border territories, through a conscious use of the natural and cultural resources of the areas involved.
The ENTEG project falls within the scope of the Interreg – IPA CBC cross-border cooperation program and involves the partners of the Technical Chamber of Greece/Section of Central Macedonia and the Bitola Youth Cultural Center of North Macedonia.
