“Fursa” project was born in 2016, aiming at supporting a young Lebanese, Turkish, Iraqi and Syrian emerging network, to reach economic autonomy and to develop, among and in communities, more tolerant relations.
One year on, in the framework of “Fursa”, COSV and the Chamber of Commerce of Milan (represented by PROMOS) have signed, together with the Chamber of Commerce of Tripoli and North Lebanon, a memorandum of understanding. With this agreement, they have engaged themselves in a mutual collaboration in the provision of Business Development Services for the youth in the Region, in order to foster inclusive economic and social growth. The initiative fits in COSV approach concerning the partnership with the profit sector for a sustainable development strategy. In the next months, the three entities will collaborate in providing training, coaching, mentoring and other concrete support to the youth and to the local job market.
“Fursa” is a project coordinated by “Search for common ground”, realized with support of “Madad Fund” (European Union Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis): COSV is a partner together with Un Ponte Per and Nova.
