We started working in Sudan in 2005, following the crisis that hit Darfur. Over the years our intervention has focused on the support to primary health care facilities and maternal and child care in West Darfur.
We believe that the introduction of elements of primary education and wash have been fundamental to strengthen the health of the community in West Darfur, while in Khartoum we worked for the protection of street children and adolescents in conflict with the law.
During 2015 we have gradually completed almost the majority of the ongoing projects, aware that our impact to these countries was running out. We leave partners and staff with whom we shared a lot battles, a lot of risks, but also successes to be proud of.
