Together with ACF, we work for life-saving emergency nutrition response in South Sudan. Based on the needs of the population and the gaps identified by the nutrition cluster, ACF’s Nutrition Emergency Team (NET) deployed to Jiech, in Ayod County, Jonglei State. The NET works to provide a rapid, flexible nutrition response with an aim at achieving both rapidity and scale. An Outpatient Therapeutic Program has been set-up and it’s operational on for severe and acute malnutrition treatment, in addition of Infant Young Children Feeding counseling. Capacity building of health staff has also been conducted on field.
